When given a lime, there is no need to rush,
No matter how eager you are for a slush.

Or the star of a sweetly tart bar that makes you sigh.
Limes are so tasty, though others insist,
That lemons are the kings of those fruits with a twist.
Others believe oranges to be where it's at.
But the limes know better than to belive that.
For limes have a place in many a dish,
And quite a few people think that they go well with fish.
